Our story

Early in her working days, Gram did piecework sewing for various companies and factories. Not being one to sit on idle hands, soon after she retired, Gram took up sewing again. She restarted just to keep active, but this changed when her daughter gave her a special task.

The father of a close friend had just passed away, and the family wanted something made to remember him by, to carry and to keep. Gram took a few of his shirts, and made her first three memory bears. Unique creations with a personal touch.

She now makes a huge variety of items, such as customizable button bags, sports team totes, military bears, and a wide variety of keepsake items. Most important, though, is that her personal touch is still there. Gram’s love, creativity, and craftsmanship can be seen in every creation.

You can find Gram selling her creations at local craft fairs in the south central PA area (see Events page for her upcoming shows) with her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. If you are not local, a large number of items are available for sale here on the website, and Gram is available by e-mail or phone for custom orders or to answer questions.
